2nd Shift is 3PM - 11PM, Friday & Saturday - Must have availability to work weekends and holidays as needed.
**Job Summary:**
Responsible for maintaining the general condition of the property with regards to basic electrical, carpentry, plumbing, mechanical, and painting work. Complete maintenance request work orders in a timely manner and participate in the preventive maintenance program for all building equipment and rooms. Additionally, perform other special projects assigned periodically by the Chief Engineer.

**Qualifications:**

**Responsibilities:**
- Maintain knowledge of and comply with all departmental policies, service procedures, and standards
- Anticipate guests' needs, respond promptly, and maintain positive guest relations
- Resolve guest complaints to ensure guest satisfaction
- Monitor and maintain cleanliness, sanitation, and organization of assigned work areas
- Receive daily work assignments, review priorities, and organize materials, tools, and equipment for daily tasks
- Perform various electrical, plumbing, and preventive maintenance work orders
- Assist other engineering personnel as instructed by the supervisor
- Maintain the proper use, cleaning, maintenance, and storage of all tools
- Handle chemicals for designated uses and ensure security of assigned keys
**Secondary Job Functions:**
- Assist with special projects assigned and room maintenance tasks
- Assume the responsibilities of the Duty Engineer and attend designated department and staff meetings
- Recommend energy saving and safety ideas, participate in fire prevention and other life safety programs
- Perform additional tasks like wall cleaning, painting, furniture repair, and building shelves

**Education and/or Experience:**
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or three to six months related experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
