Brief Summary

Due to internal movement, the Business Services team here at Members is looking for a numbers-savvy professional with a keen eye for risk and opportunity! Join the team as a Commercial Credit Analyst, where you’ll play a key role in evaluating creditworthiness, crafting sound credit recommendations, and helping shape smart lending decisions. This opportunity allows you to make a meaningful impact on our members and our commercial portfolio. This position is remote but must be able to commute to a branch within the credit union network in a reasonable timeframe.

Key Responsibilities

Credit assessments to determine loan application eligibility, done by analyzing documents, financial statements, and credit status.

Support Business Services department through cross-functional project participation, credit risk modeling, audit and exam participation, and more.

Develop complex credit presentations, analyzing and interpreting policies and risk ratings.

Perform annual reviews on existing commercial loan relationships.

Maintain working knowledge of loan programs and partnerships within the Business Services department and general changes in regulatory, economic and technological environments.

Qualifications

High School education or equivalent

1-2 years of post-secondary education in a business, accounting, or related field

3-4 years of experience in commercial lending, or equivalent combination of education and experience

Ability to read, analyze and interpret general business content at a professional level

Ability to communicate in a professional manner and communicate complex information both verbally and in writing to a variety of stakeholders

Experience and success in reporting and presenting analytical information

Demonstrated expertise using the Microsoft Office suite and proficiency with Adobe Acrobat.

Must possess or be willing to obtain Minnesota Notary Public

Experience using DNA and Sageworks preferred

Schedule

Monday – Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Wage & Hour Details

Full-time, 40 hrs/wk

This is an exempt position

Starting pay range: $66,000 - $75,000, pay commensurate with experience
