Returns Coordinator – Vendor & Internal Logistics

We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Returns Coordinator to support our client’s supply chain and logistics operations. This position plays a key role in managing vendor returns, coordinating shipments, and maintaining accurate internal documentation. You’ll work cross-functionally with departments such as purchasing, inventory, shipping, and accounting to ensure timely and accurate handling of all return-related activities.

Location: Franklin Park

Schedule: 7:30 am-4:30pm

Pay Rate: $25

Duties:

Prepare and process documentation required for vendor returns

Coordinate with the shipping department to arrange returns for damaged goods

Resolve transportation, logistics system, and customer-related issues

Verify material shipments for accuracy with the return request and purchase order

Communicate necessary updates across inventory, shipping, purchasing, and accounting teams

Manage and track accurate return logs and internal documentation

Partner with the inventory team to maintain current data on pricing, stock levels, order status, and releases in the ERP system

Collaborate with internal departments to define customer/project return requirements and align expectations

Ensure all return-related procedures follow established contract and company guidelines

Maintain regular, in-person attendance as a key requirement of the role

Requirements:

Associate’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or related field

Strong attention to detail with excellent data entry and documentation skills

Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook

Ability to work effectively with vendors, internal technical staff, and company leadership

Comfortable in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment where timing and accuracy are critical

Strong communication and organizational skills
