Senior CNC Machinist Lead - - 2nd Shift

Our client, a leading distributor in the manufacturing sector, is seeking a Senior CNC Machinist Lead to join their team. This position is a Direct Hire opportunity. As a Senior CNC Machinist Lead, you will be part of the manufacturing department supporting a dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, a commitment to quality, and a collaborative spirit which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Senior CNC Machinist Lead (Direct Hire)

Location: Orchard Park, NY

Pay Range: From $30.00 to $36.00 per hour

Shift: 4pm-230am - Monday-Thursday

What's the Job?

Program, set up, and operate CNC equipment in your designated area.

Utilize inspection equipment to validate tolerances and ensure quality standards.

Monitor production levels and maintain a safe and clean work environment.

Assign jobs and machines to team members and lead effective shift handovers.

Train and develop team members through coaching and process improvements.

What's Needed?

Five years of CNC machining experience, including programming and operation.

Experience with Mazak/Mazatrol is preferred.

CNC machine certification is a plus.

Supervisory experience leading a team

Ability to identify and resolve issues in a timely manner.

Strong communication and teamwork skills.
