Job Title: CNC Machinist
Job Description
Join a large service and repair shop specializing in compressors and valves for refineries. We are seeking an experienced CNC machinist to produce parts for compressors, valves, and various types of rotating equipment. You will work with horizontal and vertical lathes (VTLs), vertical mills, and Fanuc controls, utilizing G-Zero or Fusion to make program edits.
Must Haves
10+ years of CNC machining experience.
Proficiency with horizontal and vertical lathe operations.
Experience with vertical milling.
Fanuc controls expertise.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
Responsibilities
Produce parts for compressors, valves, and rotating equipment using CNC machines.
Operate horizontal lathes, vertical lathes (VTLs), and vertical mills.
Utilize Fanuc controls and edit CNC programs using G-Zero or Fusion.
Work with carbon and stainless steel materials.
Interpret blueprints accurately.
Collaborate within a team environment to ensure high-quality results.

Work Environment
Work in a brand-new, state-of-the-art shop with air conditioning. The facility is large, organized, and supports a mix of manual machinists, CNC machinists, mechanics, material handlers, and quality control personnel. Embrace a team-oriented work environment with no lone wolf mentality. Dress code includes steel toes, jeans, work shirt, and safety glasses. Work hours are 7:00am to 3:30pm, Monday to Friday, with potential 10-hour shifts and Saturday work during busy periods.
Job Type & Location
This is a Permanent position based out of Houston, Texas.Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $62400.00 - $83200.00/yr.
Bonus is up to 6%, but depends on profits.
Will get $100 gas cards randomly.
Pay reviews every January to increase pay rate.
Year end bonus of up to 6% based on company performance
Willing to do sign on bonus if it makes sense
