Job Description

Gate Supervisor & Gate Greeter:

A ticket gate supervisor manages the operations and security of an event’s entry points. They ensure that the event runs smoothly and safely by enforcing rules, managing crowds and working with security teams.

Job Responsibilities:

Overseeing the scanning of all digital and hardcopy admission tickets and passes from guests.

Checking the validity of the tickets and passes.

Maintaining cleanliness and order within the venue before, during and after the event.

Directing guests and providing them with any necessary information.

Monitoring the entrance and exit of the guests to ensure their safety and security.

Coordinating with the security personnel in case of any emergency situation.

Oversees and directs gate volunteers during events while fulfilling event requirements as determined by the Event Management Team (Coordinator/Manager/VP).

Ticket gate greeters assist the gate supervisor and management in completing event requirements in addition to the items listed above.

Usher Supervisor:

Oversees and directs usher volunteers during events while fulfilling event requirements as determined by the Event Management Team (Coordinator/Manager/VP).

Job Responsibilities:

Oversees and directs usher staff during events

Assists ushers and implements usher location rotation during events

Schedules usher breaks and relieves ushers if needed

Handles customer complaints or emergencies according to established policies and procedures

Collects information and fills out appropriate reports i.e. accident reports, event reports, etc.

Supplies information and assists patrons as needed

Performs other job-related duties as required

* Ability to lift and carry up to 25 lbs.

* Ability to walk, stand for long periods of time, climb stairs, stoop, bend, and maneuver under low lighting.

* Ability to move quickly from one area to another in a safe manner.

WORKING ENVIRONMENT

Position is exposed to outdoor weather conditions.

HOURS OF WORK AND TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS

Must be able to work extended and/or irregular hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Must be at least 18 years old.
