Custom Machining Corporation specializes in contract manufacturing/machining and high-speed automation machinery. We are the world’s foremost supplier of Rotary End Liners to the canning industry; which provides safe, economical and recyclable containers for food and beverage. CMC is looking to add a new member to our team. We are in search for a reliable hard working mill machinist to join our high precision machine shop.
CNC/Manual Machinists – 1st Shift!

Responsibilities:
Read and understand drawings and operation sheets.
Ability to hold tolerances 0003
Ability to set up and operate Vertical Milling Machines with little to no supervision.
Ability to set up and operate Manual Mill & Lathe Machines with little to no supervision.
Ability to set up and operate Blanchard and Surface grinders.
Experience with Fanuc, Siemens, Proto Trak, HAAS controls.
Experience machining all types of material including plastic.
Operate fork lift and crane as needed. (Willing to train and certify)
Willing to work overtime.
Ensure all standard quality procedures are followed such as machine set-up, operation, inspection, documentation, and material handling.
Document the required in-process inspection dimensions.
Maintain a clean, organized, safe work environment following all safety standards and requirements.
Perform preventative maintenance tasks as required.
3 years minimum machining experience preferred
Qualifications:
CNC/Precision Fanuc and Hass Milling experience.
Demonstrated skill working in a team environment.
Experience machining one off parts - to high production
High school diploma/GED
Must have a positive attitude and willingness to learn.
Willing to run multiple machines during cycle times.
Horizontal Milling experience a plus.
Flexible Hours:
1st shift is from 6:00am-2:30pm we are open to working with you on these hours to accommodate busy schedules (kids, long distance travel, etc)
