Contentnea Health is a Community Health Center providing comprehensive medical, dental and behavioral health services for members of our communities in Greene, Pitt and Pamlico counties in eastern North Carolina.
Job Summary
Maintains computer hardware and software systems and provides network and systems support as needed.
Responsibilities and Duties
Supports all computer systems and users.
Installs, configures, and repairs hardware and software.
Maintains current version of operating system on all company computers.
Performs maintenance to discover and remediate system inefficiencies.
Maintains data on all computer equipment and cellular phones assigned to employees.
Maintains records of hardware repair.
Removes outdated equipment and disposes of malfunctioning equipment.
Troubleshoots system failures and provides solutions on restoring functionality.
Schedules and performs maintenance and upgrades, including after clinical hours when needed to minimize operational disruption.
Responds to help desk tickets and documents resolution.
Provides user support for phone system related issues.
Offers technical support and instruction to end users.
Maintains availability to users during operation hours and responds to phone and email requests for support.
Identifies and recommends new technology solutions.
Researches technology issues and proposes potential cost-effective and efficient resolutions.
Coordinates purchase of approved technological equipment.
Qualifications and Skills
Possesses a basic level of written and verbal communication skills, computational and computer skills, and mathematical knowledge typically acquired through completion of a high school program. Possesses specific knowledge of Windows operating systems and internet-based phone systems.
Current unrestricted Driver License issued by the State of North Carolina.
