NE Property Management is looking for a detail-oriented individual for an Entry-Level Accounting Specialist.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Administrative support

Prepare and submit various reports as needed.

Direct inquiries from guests and the public to the appropriate party.

Receive, sign for, and distribute mail and deliveries to the appropriate parties.

Set up new property files and maintain the filing system.

Ensure the office is clean and organized.

Operations Support

Assist with resident communication and inquiries.

Coordinate with vendors and contractors as needed.

Accounting Support

Assist with data entry and invoice processing.

Reconcile bank statements.

Assist with accounts receivable and accounts payable.

Maintain accurate financial records.

Process payments.

Analyze and manage data and documents.

Punctual and regular attendance is required.

Complete other tasks as assigned.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting (or in progress/final semester)

Internship or 6-12 months experience in accounting, finance, or administrative support role preferred.

Familiarity with accounting principles, data entry, and financial reporting.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Possesses advanced listening and customer service skills.

Extremely detail-oriented.

Strong time management skills.

Knowledge and experience of construction software.

Advanced skills in managing numerical data.

Experience in complex calculations and financial forecasting.

Demonstrates proper phone etiquette.

Strong problem-solving skills.

Proficient at multi-tasking.

Excellent collaboration skills.

Creative problem-solving skills.

Qualifications:

Ability to work a minimum of 40 hours per week.

1-2 years experience in an Accounting role.

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with customer service.

Performs duties under pressure and meets deadlines in a timely manner.

Works as part of a team to complete assignments.

Takes instruction from supervisors.

Ability to problem-solve.

High School diploma or equivalent required.

Bachelor's degree in Accounting.

Ability to read, write, and speak English.

Interacts with co-workers, supervisors, guests and the public in a professional and pleasant manner.

MUST be able to apply principles of logical thinking to define problems, collect pertinent data, establish facts, draw valid conclusions and initiate the appropriate course of action. Must effectively convey ideas, images, and goals to a diverse group of personalities.
