CNC Operator

We are currently seeking an experienced CNC Operator to join our team on a contract basis through the end of the year. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in CNC machine setup and operation, with a focus on quality, safety, and efficiency. This is a great opportunity to contribute to a high-performing team and maintain consistency in your workflow through the remainder of the year.

Key Responsibilities:

Set up and operate CNC machines (lathes, mills, or other equipment depending on need)

Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and work instructions

Perform part inspections using measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, etc.) to ensure accuracy

Monitor machine operations to detect issues and make necessary adjustments

Maintain a clean and safe work environment

Perform routine maintenance and report mechanical issues to supervisors

Record production data and follow shop documentation procedures

Requirements:

Previous experience operating CNC machinery (2+ years preferred)

Familiarity with G-code or conversational programming (a plus but not required)

Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality

Ability to read blueprints and use precision measuring tools

Good work ethic and reliability

Willingness to work a contract role through December 2025Company Description
