Job Description for Recruiter

Experience: 3+ years of experience

Location : Kolkata

Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience in recruitment and/or operations roles, preferably in the IT industry.

In-depth knowledge of recruitment life cycle and industry best practices.

Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.

Proven ability to manage multiple requisitions and prioritize tasks effectively.

Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a keen eye for detail.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

Hands-on experience with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and recruitment tools.

Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work both independently and collaboratively.

Roles and Responsibilities:

Manage the full recruitment cycle including job posting, sourcing, screening, interviewing, selection, and on boarding.

Develop and implement creative sourcing strategies to attract top-tier IT talent.

Leverage job portals, social media, databases, and employee referrals for candidate sourcing.

Conduct initial HR interviews, assess candidate suitability, and coordinate technical interviews.

Collaborate closely with hiring managers to understand team needs and deliver qualified candidates in a timely manner.

Maintain accurate and organized candidate records using ATS and internal tracking systems.

Provide regular recruitment status reports and updates to stakeholders.

Support operational functions including process documentation, compliance, and policy implementation.

Assist in planning and executing recruitment drives and employer branding initiatives.

Monitor recruitment KPIs such as time-to-hire, offer acceptance rate, and source effectiveness.

Contribute to process improvement projects and HR operations as needed.

Perform general administrative duties including scheduling, documentation, and internal coordination.
