Robert Half is looking for an experienced and detail-focused Controller to lead the accounting operations for a manufacturing company in Beaver Dam, Wisconsin. This role requires a strategic thinker who can ensure accurate financial reporting, maintain compliance with regulations, and provide valuable insights to support organizational decision-making.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and oversee all accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger processes.

• Ensure timely and accurate completion of month-end and year-end close procedures.

• Develop and manage budgets, forecasting financial performance to align with organizational goals.

• Monitor compliance with tax regulations, including sales and use tax reporting.

• Provide strategic financial analysis and recommendations to support business decisions.

• Coordinate with auditors.

• Familiarity with sales and use tax regulations and compliance.

• Prepare detailed financial reports and statements for management review.

• Collaborate with leadership to align financial strategies with company objectives.

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting or financial management.

• Proficiency in accounting software systems and tools.

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Strong communication and leadership abilities.
