We are looking for an experienced Chief Financial Officer to lead the financial operations of a non-profit healthcare organization based in Greater Milwaukee county. This role requires a strategic thinker who can oversee financial planning, budgeting, and compliance while ensuring alignment with the organization’s values and goals. The ideal candidate will excel in leadership, collaboration, and operational efficiency, contributing to the delivery of high-quality services.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute financial strategies that align with organizational goals and values.

• Oversee budgeting processes, including forecasting and monitoring expenditures.

• Manage investment portfolios and ensure optimal capital allocation.

• Collaborate with boards and committees to provide financial insights and guidance.

• Supervise payroll operations and ensure accurate, timely processing.

• Lead financial planning efforts for individual stakeholders, ensuring personalized solutions.

• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and financial reporting standards.

• Implement and manage accounting software systems to streamline processes.

• Provide leadership and mentorship to the finance team, fostering a culture of excellence.

• Analyze cash flow and financial trends to support decision-making and strategic planning.• Minimum of 10 years of experience in financial leadership roles, preferably in non-profit or healthcare sectors.

• Proven expertise in strategic planning, budgeting, and financial management.

• Proficiency with accounting software systems, including Abila MIP and Microsoft Office.

• Strong knowledge of tax regulations, including Form 990.

• Experience with auditing processes and capital management.

• Demonstrated ability to lead teams and manage complex financial operations.

• CPA certification or equivalent qualification is preferred.

• Exceptional organizational and communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
