Job Description
We are looking for a skilled Senior Desktop Support specialist to join our team in Dallas, Texas. In this Contract-to-Permanent role, you will provide expert technical support to ensure seamless operation of desktop systems and related technologies. This position is ideal for someone with a strong background in troubleshooting, configuring, and maintaining IT systems in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
• Provide advanced troubleshooting and resolution for desktop systems and software issues, ensuring minimal downtime.
• Manage and deploy system images using Microsoft SCCM to maintain and update devices efficiently.
• Utilize PowerShell scripting to automate routine IT tasks and enhance system performance.
• Configure and support CUCM environments to ensure proper functionality of communication systems.
• Perform hardware diagnostics and repairs to maintain optimal device performance.
• Handle Active Directory tasks, including user account management and group policy updates.
• Conduct basic network troubleshooting to resolve connectivity issues and ensure reliable access.
• Deliver exceptional customer support by addressing technical inquiries and providing clear solutions.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation of IT processes, configurations, and issue resolutions.
• Collaborate with team members to implement IT best practices and drive continuous improvement.• Proven experience with Microsoft SCCM for system configuration and image deployment.
• Proficiency in scripting with PowerShell for automation and system management.
• Strong knowledge of Windows 10 and related desktop environments.
• Familiarity with CUCM configuration and support.
• Solid understanding of Active Directory, including user and group management.
• Experience in hardware and software troubleshooting.
• Basic networking knowledge for diagnosing and resolving connectivity issues.
