Job Summary:

The Infrastructure Manager will be responsible for overseeing and maintaining the entire IT infrastructure of the company at a global level. This includes networks, servers, cloud environments, and user devices. The role requires strategic leadership to ensure operational excellence, security, and scalability across various global locations.

The infrastructure manager will work with internal and external stakeholders to validate the architecture of new initiatives, so they comply with our corporate standards and security posture.

A relevant part of the role is to maintain and evolve the IT infrastructure in the manufacturing environments.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in IT infrastructure in multinational companies but excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment coordinating internal (6 direct reports) and external technicians

Working out of business hours or over the weekend may be punctually needed.

Key responsibilities:

Infrastructure Management: Oversee the company’s IT infrastructure, ensuring reliability, performance, and security.

Network & Server Administration: Manage on-premise and cloud-based servers, network configurations, and security protocols

Cloud Operations: Lead cloud migration strategies, optimize cloud performance, and ensure cost-efficient cloud utilization.

Device Management: Oversee deployment, maintenance, and security policies for user devices across different regions.

Team Leadership: Manage a diverse team of 6 IT technicians, ensuring collaboration, performance, and skill development.

Strategic IT Planning: Develop infrastructure strategies that align with business goals and support future growth and manage infrastructure projects for the commissioning and roll-out of new tools or services.

Security & Compliance: Coordinate with Cybesecurity director to ensure compliance with industry regulations and security best practices in all IT operations.

Vendor & Stakeholder Coordination: Manage relationships with external service providers, ensuring service quality and cost-effectiveness

Incident Management & Support: Supervise troubleshooting and incident resolution, minimizing downtime and disruptions.

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field (Master’s preferred).

5+ years of experience in similar role IT infrastructure management in a multinational environment.

12+ years of experience in IT infrastructure in different roles and responsibilities

Strong expertise in cloud platforms (AWS), network administration, and server management.

Experience in VMware environments

Experience in Industrial and OT environments

Proven leadership experience in managing distributed IT teams.

Excellent problem-solving, communication, and project management skills.

Technical: Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP), AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional, CompTIA Server+, VMware Certified Professional (VCP)

Management and processes: ITIL Foundation Certification, Project Management Professional (PMP)
