Job Description: Litho Operator
GENERAL PURPOSE:
A Litho Operator sets up, operates, and maintains offset printing presses, ensuring high-quality printed materials by adjusting settings, monitoring the process, and making necessary adjustments to achieve accurate color, registration, and overall print quality.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
To perform this job successfully an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
· Able to read job tickets and ensure proper materials are used.
· Have color tolerances and scanner use.
· Able to place registration and artwork position on a sheet.
· Willingness to learn ink and water levels.
· Adjust feeder and delivery sections.
· Adjust press to multiple sheet sizes.
· Basic knowledge of maintenance on the press.
· Ensure print quality throughout the run.
· Able to use AVP system for consuming raw materials.
· Perform other duties as assigned.
· Able read ink and water levels.

· Able to perform maintenance on all units.
· Perform other duties as assigned.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:
This position requires working in a manufacturing setting. Work often requires extended work hours, including weekend work. Working conditions may not be environmentally controlled resulting in hot or cold temperatures depending on weather conditions. While working in the manufacturing area, the employee may work in areas where there is moving warehouse equipment and must exercise care to avoid injury in these environments.
