GENERAL STATEMENT OF JOB DUTIES
The IT Infrastructure & Support Manager at GoTriangle is responsible for overseeing the organization's IT infrastructure, ensuring the reliability, security, and efficiency of all network, server, and end-user support operations. This role manages IT systems, hardware, and services, including network infrastructure, cloud computing, cybersecurity, and help desk support. The IT Infrastructure & Support Manager leads a team of IT professionals, coordinates technology initiatives, and collaborates with internal departments and external vendors to optimize IT operations. This position requires strong leadership, technical expertise, and a proactive approach to maintaining and improving GoTriangle's IT environment. The IT Infrastructure & Support Manager reports to the Chief Information Officer (CIO) or designated IT leadership.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Supervise and mentor IT support staff, offering guidance and resources to ensure timely resolution of IT support issues and optimize the use of technology across the organization.
Oversee the configuration, deployment, and management of hardware and software systems to maintain operational efficiency.
Continuously monitor system performance and network traffic to identify and address potential issues, ensuring optimal functionality.
Proactively identify, assess, and respond to security threats, vulnerabilities, and incidents, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
Lead the planning, execution, and implementation of infrastructure upgrades, migrations, and new technologies to enhance GoTriangle's IT capabilities.
Manage the lifecycle of IT hardware, from procurement and installation to decommissioning, ensuring infrastructure aligns with both current and future organizational needs.
Collaborate with IT leadership, systems administrators, and department managers to ensure infrastructure strategies align with overall organizational objectives.
Prepare and present detailed reports on system performance, incidents, and other IT metrics for senior leadership review.
Provide advanced technical support for complex IT infrastructure-related issues and assist users with troubleshooting connectivity or hardware problems.
Develop and implement training programs to improve staff understanding and proficiency with IT systems, tools, and best practices.
Regularly assess the performance of IT infrastructure and propose improvements to ensure systems remain efficient, secure, and scalable.
Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices to drive innovation and enhance IT capabilities.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field; or equivalent work experience.
At least 7 years of experience in IT infrastructure, systems administration, or network management, with at least 3 years in a leadership or supervisory role.
Familiarity with ITIL (Information Technology Infrastructure Library) practices or similar frameworks for IT service management.
Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously while ensuring high-quality outcomes.
Strong knowledge of network protocols, hardware, and software systems (including routers, firewalls, switches, servers, and cloud-based technologies).
Technical certifications preferred (ITIL, Network+, CCENT, CCNA, MCITP, MCSA)
Detailed knowledge of PC systems, hardware, and peripherals.
Must have excellent knowledge and understanding of Microsoft products, including Windows 11, Windows Server, Microsoft Office, and Exchange system.
Knowledge of macOS, iOS, and Android operating systems.
Knowledge of Cisco LAN/WAN environment and Dell server technologies.
Ability to communicate technical and non-technical information effectively, both orally and in writing to end users.
Ability to work in a team environment.
Ability to work independently with little supervision.
Basic Project Management skills.
Working Conditions:
Works in an office environment where there is minimum exposure to dust, noise, or extreme temperatures. May be moderately exposed to unpleasant working conditions to include dust, noise, temperature, weather, petroleum products, and chemicals while visiting operating facilities, during which the incumbent should observe all policies and procedures, safety precautions and regulations, and use all protective clothing and devices provided.
Physical Requirements:
Sedentary Work: Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects, including the human body. Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time. Walking and standing are required only occasionally.
