We are looking for a skilled Manual Machinist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in operating and maintaining manual machining equipment, including lathes, mills, and grinders. You will be responsible for producing high-quality parts and components according to specifications, ensuring that all work is completed in a timely and efficient manner. The role requires a keen eye for detail, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. You will also be expected to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and schematics, as well as perform routine maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal performance. Safety is a top priority, and you must adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines. Additionally, you will be required to keep accurate records of your work, including measurements, materials used, and time spent on each task. Responsibilities

Operate manual lathes, mills, and grinders.

Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.

Produce high-quality parts and components according to specifications.

Perform routine maintenance on machining equipment.

Ensure all work is completed in a timely and efficient manner.

Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines.

Keep accurate records of work, including measurements and materials used.

Collaborate with team members to complete projects.

Troubleshoot and resolve machining issues.

Inspect finished products for quality and accuracy.

Set up and adjust machinery for different tasks.

Maintain a clean and organized work area.

Follow standard operating procedures and best practices.

Communicate effectively with supervisors and colleagues.

Participate in continuous improvement initiatives.

Train and mentor junior machinists as needed.

Ensure compliance with company policies and regulations.

Monitor inventory levels and request supplies as needed.

Assist in the development of new machining techniques.

Provide feedback on design and manufacturing processes.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.

Minimum of 3 years of experience as a manual machinist.

Proficiency in operating manual lathes, mills, and grinders.

Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.

Strong problem-solving skills.

Attention to detail and precision.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Good communication skills.

Knowledge of safety protocols and guidelines.

Physical stamina and dexterity.

Basic math skills.
