The Technical Project Manager (PM) will serve as the primary liaison between the government stakeholders and the IT Automation LLC delivery team, overseeing the successful execution of the data migration project. This role will be responsible for the planning, coordination, and execution of all project phases, ensuring that timelines, deliverables, and quality expectations are met.

Key Responsibilities:

Project Planning & Oversight

Develop, monitor, and update the project work plan, schedule, and resource assignments.

Define project scope, goals, milestones, and deliverables in collaboration with the leadership.

Utilize PMI PMBOK-aligned methodologies to govern the full project lifecycle.

Task Coordination and Management

Assign and manage workstreams across cross-functional teams including database architects, developers, analysts, QA specialists, and trainers.

Lead weekly project status meetings and working sessions to assess progress, risks, and issues.

Stakeholder Communication

Ensure timely and transparent communication with the IT departments, including Accounting, Procurement, Budgeting, and Enterprise reporting.

Prepare and distribute regular reports detailing progress, risk status, budget tracking, and issue resolution.

Risk and Issue Management

Identify project risks, develop mitigation strategies, and proactively address issues that could impact scope, timeline, or cost.

Maintain a dynamic risk register and track resolution of escalated concerns.

Change Management Leadership

Integrate change management strategies aligned with SAFe Agile practices.

Work with change leads to coordinate communications, stakeholder engagement, and training across 4,000+ users to the enterprise reporting tool.

Quality Assurance and Compliance

Ensure project deliverables meet all state and federal compliance requirements, including Section 508 and data standards in the new infrastructure.

Collaborate with QA teams to enforce testing standards and UAT protocols.

Vendor and Contract Oversight

Coordinate deliverables and performance from all third-party vendors or sub-contractors involved.

Ensure compliance with all contractual obligations and manage amendments or change orders.

Post-Implementation Review & Closure

Oversee the final project audit and prepare project closure documentation including final KPI metrics and client satisfaction reports.

Lead knowledge transfer activities and establish transition plans for post-deployment support.
