Position Summary
We’re looking for a Controls Project Manager to lead the planning, coordination, and execution of HVAC controls and building automation system installations. From pre-construction through commissioning, this role ensures technical excellence, team alignment, and timely delivery.
This is a hands-on leadership role that requires close collaboration with superintendents, foremen, clients, and engineers. The ideal candidate brings a strong mix of technical knowledge, field awareness, and communication—aligned with core values of dependability, initiative, and resourcefulness.
Primary Responsibilities and Duties
• Collaborate with superintendents and foremen to plan, organize, and direct controls project activities.
• Define project scopes, objectives, and deliverables that support business goals in collaboration with stakeholders.
• Coordinate with clients, vendors, engineers, and internal teams to ensure successful execution.
• Monitor and manage project schedules, budgets, materials, and labor resources.
• Review blueprints, specs, and control submittals; ensure installations aligned with project drawings and applicable codes.
• Participate in commissioning, inspections, and handoff to service teams or clients.
• Forecast project needs and support procurement efforts to meet timelines and technical requirements.
• Lead or participate in project meetings, safety briefings, and site walks.
• Implement corrective actions, and support project closeout documentation.
• Maintain documentation on change orders, project costs, material tracking, and labor reporting.
• Foster a culture of safety, teamwork, and high performance in accordance with core values.

Qualifications
• 3+ years in commercial controls or building automation project management
• Experience in HVAC controls, commissioning, and integration

• Willingness to travel up to 10%
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent field experience
