Accounting Analyst

Job Description

We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounting Analyst to join our team on a contract basis in Carrollton, Texas. In this role, you will be responsible for handling key accounting functions and analyzing financial data to support organizational decision-making. This position requires a strong understanding of accounting systems and tools, as well as excellent problem-solving skills to ensure seamless financial operations.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and analyze financial statements to ensure accuracy and compliance with company policies.

• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes efficiently and accurately.

• Perform audits to identify discrepancies and recommend solutions for improvement.

• Utilize accounting software systems to streamline processes and maintain accurate records.

• Conduct billing functions and ensure timely invoicing to clients.

• Collaborate with internal teams to gather financial data and provide actionable insights.

• Monitor enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems to ensure proper financial workflows.

• Develop and maintain financial reports using tools such as ADP, Ceridian, and Concur.

• Assist in implementing process improvements to enhance financial operations.

• Provide support during regulatory and compliance audits.• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

• Proven experience in accounting functions, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.

• Proficiency in accounting software systems and ERP tools.

• Familiarity with ADP, Ceridian, and Concur systems is highly desirable.

• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.

• Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.

• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.

• Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams.
