Schedule: 3537.5 hours per week during standard school hours

Grade Levels: Elementary through high school (K-12)

Caseload: Approximately 4060 students

Service Delivery: Live video-based interpretation via secure teletherapy platforms

Parent-teacher conferencesCore Responsibilities

Provide real-time American Sign Language (ASL) interpretation during virtual classroom sessions

Facilitate munication between students, teachers, and peers

Support the development and implementation of IEP goals

Maintain accurate records of services provided

Collaborate with educational staff to ensure effective munication strategiesRequired Qualifications

EIPA score of 3.5 or higher (required)

Michigan state certification as a Sign Language Interpreter

2 years of school-based interpreting experience

Proficiency in ASL and understanding of deaf culture
