Job Description
Join a growing small manufacturing company located in northern Blair County, seeking dedicated individuals for long-term opportunities. As a General Production Worker, you will be integral to the production process, ensuring precision and efficiency. Your role involves standing for 8 hours a day, using a tape measure to cut materials, and performing basic computer tasks, including opening work orders and executing assigned tasks.
Responsibilities
Measure and cut plastic materials accurately using a tape measure.
Stand for 8 hours a day to perform production tasks.
Utilize basic computer skills to open and manage work orders.
Complete basic mathematical calculations to ensure precision in measurements.
Inspect materials and products to meet quality standards.
Use hand tools effectively for assembly and repair tasks.Essential Skills
Proficiency in reading a tape measure, including measurements in 8ths and 16ths.
Basic computer skills to navigate work orders and manage tasks.
Ability to perform basic math calculations.
Familiarity with hand tools for assembly and repair.Additional Skills & Qualifications
Ability to pass a test on the metric and inch measurement systems.

Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Tyrone, Pennsylvania.Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $16.00 - $16.00/hr.
