We are looking for an experienced Accounting Clerk to join our team in Midland, Texas. This Contract position offers a dynamic opportunity to manage vehicle title and registration processes while ensuring compliance with relevant regulations. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and capable of handling documentation efficiently.
Responsibilities:
• Process and manage vehicle title and registration paperwork in accordance with applicable regulations.
• Verify the accuracy and completeness of documents submitted by stakeholders.
• Maintain organized records of titles, registrations, and related documentation.
• Collaborate with team members and external parties to resolve title discrepancies.
• Perform title searches and ensure proper handling of vehicle-related documentation.
• Utilize company software to process transactions and maintain records; training will be provided.
• Ensure compliance with DOT and banking regulations as required.
• Assist with reconciling accounts related to vehicle transactions.
• Provide exceptional customer service when interacting with internal and external stakeholders.
• Support additional administrative tasks as needed to ensure smooth operations.• Proven experience in title processing or a related field is highly desirable.
• Proficiency in accounting tasks such as accounts payable, accounts receivable, and account reconciliation.
• Familiarity with software tools such as Microsoft Excel, QuickBooks, Oracle, and SAP.
• Strong data entry skills and attention to detail.
• Knowledge of registration processes, forms, and statements.
• Understanding of DOT and banking regulations.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
