Job Title: Tool Assistant

Location: Jourdanton, TX

Job Type: Fulltime- Temp-Hire

Schedule: 7:45AM-5:00PM Monday-Friday possible weekends as needed

VIP-Staffing is currently seeking an experienced Downhole Tool Specialist for immediate start. Must have reliable transportation.

Top required skills:

Must be honest, reliable, and dependable

Punctuality is very important so we need a candidate who will show up to work on time every day.

Previous oilfield experience is highly preferred, not required.

Previous forklift experience is nice to have.

Open to entry-level candidates; however, they must have a willingness to learn.

Some computer proficiency.

Looking for analytical thinkers that take initiative on daily tasks.

Qualifications:

Previous downhole tool experience

Strong mechanical aptitude and understanding of oilfield operations.

Ability to work in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment.

Willingness to travel to field locations and work extended hours or rotational schedules.

Self-motivated and detail oriented

Available to work weekends and holidays as needed

Working knowledge of windows 10 OS, Microsoft Office, and Prophet 21 ERP

Ability to lift a minimum of 75lbs

Ability to pass a drug test and background

Responsibilities

Working with customer field representatives to coordinate tool pickup and delivery, ensuring equipment is available and maintained.

Washing, tearing down, and rebuilding Cyclops Setting Tools according to NOV work instructions.

Reporting all steps of the Cyclops Recycling Program through NOV software.

Assisting in the delivery and pickup of tools.

Any other duty assigned by a supervisor.

Ensures all necessary equipment and tools are available and adequately maintained to perform all aspects of the job

Asist in the delivery and pickup of tools as needed
