Position: Electrical Design Engineer

Department: Electrical Engineering

Direct Report To: Director – Electrical Engineering

Primary Location: Dublin, Ohio OR Bellefontaine, Ohio

Manufacturing Location: Bellefontaine, Ohio

PowerBuilt is a turn-key material handling systems integrator. Our growing engineering team is seeking a qualified Electrical Design Engineer to join our electrical engineering department as the company continues to expand and grow.

Responsibilities

Develop technical electrical controls expertise

Assist other departments with electrical controls information

Provide electrical control system and panel design

Provide PLC, HMI, and Robot programming on various platforms

Provide project documentation

Provide startup and commissioning services for projects

Develop electrical troubleshooting capability

Requirements

Ability to work independently and in a team

Ability to travel up to 25% per year primarily in the United States

Ability to work in a factory and "job shop" environment

Ability to communication work status and issues

Good organizational skills with the ability to multi-task

High attention to detail

High Competency with Microsoft products

Bachelor’s degree within electrical engineering discipline -OR-

Associates degree with 2+ years of manufacturing experience
