Job Summary:

The Operations Manager oversee daily operations, ensuring efficiency, productivity, safety and compliance with company policies and industry regulations. This position requires strong leadership, strategic planning, and problem-solving skills to optimize processes and drive business success.

Essential Job Functions:

Leadership & Team Supervision

Lead and motivate warehouse employees to achieve performance targets.

Train new employees on warehouse procedures, equipment usage, and safety protocols.

Provide coaching and feedback to team members to enhance their skills and efficiency.

Conduct daily team meetings to communicate goals, updates, and expectations.

Manufacturing Strategy

Regularly provide input for safety and efficiency improvements.

Be the management representative for the Quality Management system.

Coordinate and maintain preventative maintenance program

Coordinate and maintain calibration program for tooling

Coordinate safety programs within the facility

Coordinate, implement and maintain facility and all aspects of the facility

Use company’s ERP system to manage production in the warehouse and assembly area.

Work with management and staff to prioritize and plan weekly and daily production and shipping activities.

Implement safety and 5S programs for continuous improvements within the facility

Warehouse planning and scheduling

Overseeing material handling duties to ensure product is picked and prepared for shipping accurately.

Maintain a clean and safe working area according at all times.

Collaborate with management team members to prioritize daily and weekly shipping requirements.

Manage warehouse parts picking for shipping.

Assembly – Paint Spray cell/ PTFE cell/ Twisterflex

Supervise assembly area ensuring adherence to standard work. Prioritizing safety, quality and productivity in that order.

Collaborate with assembly team to identify improvement ideas.

Encourage participation and feedback from the assembly team.

Learn all assembly positions. Be able to fill-in in assembly process on emergency basis.

Ensure maintenance of assembly equipment is performed and up to date.Requirements:

Qualifications & Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in business administration, operations management, or a related field.

5+ years of experience in operations management, preferably in manufacturing, logistics, or a related industry.

Strong leadership and team management skills with a proven track record of driving operational improvements.

Knowledge of industry safety and compliance standards.

Excellent problem-solving, decision-making, and analytical abilities.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with diverse teams.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and ERP systems.

Work Environment:

Ability to perform job functions with or without reasonable accommodations.

Warehouse setting with exposure to fluctuating temperatures and noise levels.

Standing, walking, lifting, and bending required for extended periods.
