Job Description
Linda MacDonald - State Farm Agency, located in Canton, OH has an immediate opening for a part-time Sales Assistant. Insurance experiences is preferred but not required. Must have or be willing to obtain Property and Casualty insurance license.
Primary role is assistant to agency owner. In this role you would need to be able to take instruction and have good follow through. Must have a friendly personality and provide excellent customer service. This position is part-time with the ability to transition to full-time if desired.
Responsibilities
Develop leads from in book and newly purchased leads.
Schedule appointments for agent.
Assist agent with agency needs and client follow up.
Establish customer relationships and follow up with customers, as needed.
Provide prompt, accurate, and friendly customer service. Service can include responding to inquiries regarding insurance availability, eligibility, coverages, policy changes, transfers, claim submissions, and billing clarification.

Requirements
Insurance Sales Experience/ Property & Casualty and L/H licenses preferred.
Sales experience (outside sales or inside sales representative, retail sales associate, or telemarketing) preferred
Successful track record of meeting sales goals/quotas preferred
Excellent communication skills - written, verbal and listening
Self-motivated
Ability to multi-task
Ability to effectively relate to a customer
Property & Casualty license (must have or be able to obtain)
Life & Health license (must be able to obtain)
