Position Summary:
This position will be responsible for administration, configuration, and maintenance of Allied World’s new Global HRIS system, Workday. The role will be responsible for supporting various areas of Workday, including business process design, reporting and analytics, and overall system implementation. This individual will be the key point of contact for multiple HR team members, IT, and others and will be essential in the ongoing operations of the HRIS team. The primary objective of this role will be to ensure efficient configuration and continuous improvement of Workday to meet the needs of the business and HR.
Key Responsibilities:
· Configure Workday to meet the needs of the business and human resources.
· Review Workday release notes and manage release testing.
· Build various modules in Workday including: HCM, Reporting, Absence Management, Compensation, Talent, Payroll Benefits.
· Support reporting needs across the business, including ad hoc reporting requests.
· Assist the learning and development team in creating process guides and job aids for Workday and other HR processes.
· Resolves HR tickets in a timely manner and handle any Workday approvals.
· Assist in data issues during the implementation process, which could include assisting in mass updates in Oracle and reviewing data uploads.
· Troubleshoot and resolve any HR system related issues.
· Provide operational support to HR, managers, and employees daily.
· Stay up to date on HR systems and trends in the ecosystem.
