Rocktops is a state-of-the-art granite & stone fabrication facility located in Olathe, KS servicing the production and installation of high-quality countertop surfaces for our clients. Rocktops has an immediate opening for a Full Time Fabricator to join our team. The Fabricator is responsible for polishing granite & stone countertop edges and bottoms while maintaining a safe and clean work environment at all times. TYPICAL DUTIES (illustrative, not inclusive):

Responsible for properly polishing stone countertop edges and bottoms to meet customer specifications.

Ability to use and understand basic hand-held measuring and power tools.

Responsible for the detection and reporting of defective materials or questionable conditions to management.

Maintains work area and equipment in a clean and orderly fashion, following appropriate safety procedures.

Performs inspections of machine products and document findings as appropriate.

Completes and maintains paperwork for countertops and materials.

Trains on other shop equipment as needed.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

Ability to sit, stand, walk, talk, hear, use hands to finger, grasp, handle or feel, reach, crouch, bend, or kneel, and perform repetitive motions of the hands and/or wrists.

Exerts up to 100-pounds of force, and/or up to 100-pounds of force frequently, to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move heavy objects.
