Position: Program Manager 1

Program: Eddy Center

Location: Middletown

Salary: $60,000-$65,000/year

Schedule: Full time; 40 hours; Monday-Friday; 1st shift (8-4p/ 9-5p) with flexibility to meet program needs

Position Summary:

We are seeking an experienced leader to oversee our Eddy Center Program. The Eddy Center is a 24/hr transitional residential program that supports adult men who are currently under the supervision of Parole. This position provides supervision to program staff, ensures adherence to contractual expectations and internal policies and procedures and promotes a structured trauma-informed environment that supports successful community re-entry through the delivery of case management services, job development and linkage to community based treatment. This role provides on-call support to program staff and participates in an on-call rotation as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead, support, and supervise the operations of the Eddy Center Program

Implement and oversee systems and processes to enhance service effectiveness and contract compliance

Build and maintain productive relationships with state agencies, and community partners

Oversee staff performance, training, and professional development

Provide on-call support and leadership coverage as needed

Ensures program aligns with Department of Correction (DOC) regulations

Qualifications:

Strong organizational and leadership skills

Proven experience in program operations and staff supervision

Knowledge of Connecticut’s DOC service system

Experience working with individuals impacted by the criminal justice system

Requirements:

Preferred: Bachelor’s Degree and 5 years related experience/3 years supervisory

Associate's Degree and 8 years of related experience/3 years supervisory

Valid Connecticut Driver’s License

Orientation:

If selected for employment with The Connection, newly hired employees will be required to attend a two (2) day mandatory New Hire Orientation at our Roscommon office located in Middletown.
