The Office of Strategic Initiatives (OSI) is where you want to be!

Under the general supervision of the Staff Services Manager II within the Division of Operations (OPS), Office of the Chief (OC), Office of Strategic Initiatives (OSI), the Office Technician (Typing) (OT(T)) works independently and provides general office support to OSI.

The incumbent performs a variety of complex office work tasks with a high level of independence and initiative when providing administrative assistance.

The OT(T) will perform a variety of client support assignments relative to OSI program functions which include program and customer support, maintaining program intake database systems, data collection, visual, written and verbal communication specific to process improvement and/or special project initiatives.

Working Conditions This position has been designated as eligible for telework and is currently a hybrid position.

The position may however require in-person attendance when requested.

The selected candidate would report to Department of Justice headquarters in Sacramento if/when required to attend mandated in-person meetings, trainings, etc.

Expenses related to travel to the office for required events are the responsibility of the employee.

All telework schedules are subject to change and may be reevaluated at any time.
