Position Responsibilities:
May include:
Schedule and report out engineering change requests (ECRs) using excel and project Gantt charts. Needs to be able to drive people to meet time lines and provide help when needed. (15%)
Document project dies in the shop for effective pass on of information (20%)
Improve documentation for die changeover (25%)
Assist with PMs scheduling and tracking when PMs are completed to reduce down time in presses, assist with downtime analysis (20%)
Conduct time studies to improve efficiency in the die shop and changeover area (5%)
5s project champion. Assist with project ideas and documentation.
Ability to catalogue spare parts and translate into electronic format. (20%)
Create, maintain and view reports
Help with floor layout and keeping track of changes and be able to communicate with facilities as needed.
Communicate timely and effectively with customers and peers
Drive safety culture through documentation and best practices.
Help expedite shipping when projects require it. Operate a forklift on occasions as needed to move parts, dies etc.

Knowledge and Skills
Very proficient at MS Office tools: Outlook, Word, Power Point and Excel

Basic CAD skills
Ability to coordinate multiple projects effectively in a fast- paced environment
High level of interpersonal skills including facilitation, and conflict resolution.
Demonstrated analytical, organizational, and project management skills.
High level of analytical ability and attention to detail where problems are unusual and difficult.
Understanding of safe work practices and policies
Working knowledge of Kronos and MAPICs is highly preferred
High level of time management skills
Ability to operate a Forklift safely (in-house training and certification required)
Experience
2 years in a project coordinator role OR 5 years in manufacturing
1 plus years of data collection and analysis experience
Education
High School Diploma or GED equivalent
College Degree is highly preferred or relevant work experience
