Tax Compliance Manager

Kforce has a client that is seeking a Tax Compliance Manager in Bethesda, MD.

Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Tax Compliance Manager to join our team.

This role is responsible for preparing and reviewing complex tax returns, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations, and supporting tax planning initiatives.

The ideal candidate has strong technical knowledge, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities: * Tax Compliance Manager will prepare and review corporate, partnership, and individual tax returns * Ensure timely and accurate tax filings in compliance with applicable laws * Assist with tax planning and research to minimize tax liabilities * As a Tax Compliance Manager, you will support audits and respond to tax authority inquiries * Stay current on tax regulations and industry developments* Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field; CPA preferred * 5+ years of tax experience, preferably in public accounting * Strong knowledge of tax laws and accounting principles * Proficiency with tax software and Microsoft Excel * Excellent communication and organizational skills
