Ground Systems Engineer - Security Clearance

SAIC seeks a Ground Systems Engineer to support the NRO SIGINT Directorate, providing expertise in spacecraft command and control integration with ground capabilities for an end-to-end system.

Responsible for overseeing vendor development, integration, and testing of ground capabilities as a technical expert.

Supports ground system development, including analysis of alternatives, requirements generation, concept design, and CONOPS development.

Supervises integration of ground capabilities into the larger system and manages transition to operations, including deployment, training, payload checkout, and on-orbit activities.

Assesses design updates, ensuring performance and spacecraft impacts are understood, and works with contractors on software development schedules.

Qualifications include a B.S. in Electrical Engineering or related fields, 9+ years of experience with satellite ground systems, knowledge of agile development, and MBSE. Candidates must have TS/SCI with poly and demonstrate team collaboration skills.
