Cyber Systems (RedHat) Engineer - Security Clearance

Seeking an experienced Red Hat Engineer to support a mission-critical Space and Intelligence Program.

Provision, manage, and support RHEL servers worldwide, ensuring security and compliance.

Develop and maintain Ansible Playbooks for server configuration, patching, and security.

Perform daily system monitoring, log review, and backup verification.

Create, modify, and delete user accounts per policies.

Investigate service disruptions, perform root cause analysis, and implement preventive measures.

Deploy, configure, and support monitoring tools to detect anomalies.

Support hardware/software deployment, manage network, storage, and firewall configurations.

Coordinate hardware repairs, create SOPs, and work with teams/vendors to improve operations.

Handle multiple tasks independently, meeting deadlines.

Qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree, 8+ years of experience, Security+ or CISSP, and Top Secret/SCI clearance. Preferred skills: MySQL, Red Hat IDM, two-factor auth, Linux hardening, Splunk.
