SQL Server Database Administrator - Security Clearance

Seeking a Senior SQL Server Database Administrator in Ft. Belvoir, VA with 6+ years of experience or a relevant degree.

Administers and troubleshoots MS SQL Server 2016/2019 databases, ensuring 90% data availability and security compliance per DoD and DISA STIGs.

Performs installation, configuration, performance tuning, backups, recovery, and patch management.

Maintains documentation, monitors system performance, and addresses hardware/software issues.

Provides 24/7 support for critical database failures and supports web services like SharePoint Online, ensuring secure access over NIPRNET/SIPRNET with DoD PKI.

Requires MS SQL 2016 certification, Windows Server Fundamentals, secret clearance, and experience with VMware, TSQL, and relational database design.

Knowledge of Adobe LiveCycle Designer and VBScript is a plus.

Must adhere to security standards, develop infrastructure plans, and support web collaboration tools.
