Immersive Media Editor

Immersive Media Editor provides editing expertise and operations for digital video production, including editing, stitching, plating, coloring, and exporting traditional and immersive 360-degree video productions. Some work may include lighting and/or producing responsibilities and some graphics.

+ Work with the OHIO 360 post-production team on immersive 360-degree video projects and ancillary traditional film/video editing.

+ Preview and provide final edit and color correction on all external video deliverables.

+ Work with graphics and audio team members to coordinate production timelines.

Minimum Qualifications:

+ Bachelor’s degree in Film, Digital Media, Virtual reality, or a related field

+ Minimum one year of experience editing 360-degree video

+ Minimum two years’ experience editing educational films or documentaries

Preferred Qualifications:

+ MFA in Film, Digital Media, Virtual reality, or related field

+ Minimum two years’ experience editing 360-degree video

+ Working background of working as crew on film and 360 sets

+ Working background of working as a producer on film and 360 sets

Advertised Salary:

The target salary for this position is $16.84 to $21.48 an hour and is commensurate with the selected candidate’s education and experience while considering internal equity.
