Sign Language Interpreter

Seeking a Sign Language Interpreter with at least 1+ year of experience for a full-time, onsite role supporting a 4th grade student on a 1:1 basis. The position runs from August 18, 2025, to June 1, 2026, with a Monday–Friday schedule and early release Fridays.

Provide real-time ASL interpretation during academic and classroom activities.

Support the student’s communication and social development throughout the school day.

Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and the IEP team.

Maintain confidentiality and ensure effective communication.

Qualifications include proficiency in ASL, a valid Illinois SLI license or ISBE certification, and school-based experience preferred. Strong interpersonal skills and adaptability are essential.
