This position is responsible for providing IT server and network support in a team environment. Duties include maintaining and troubleshooting servers, backups, storage, wireless, VMware, and all other infrastructure items. Implementing security best practices and documenting infrastructure environment.

Responsibilities

Maintain, troubleshoot, and upgrade server room infrastructure. Cisco UCS, Pure Storage, Cohesity, VMware.

Maintain, troubleshoot, and upgrade servers including VMware Environment, and SQL servers.

Manage Active Directory, DNS, and DHCP

Assist with managing Office365.

Project planning

Backup and DR planning and maintenance using Cohesity

Assist with Camera System setup and maintenance

Server software application installs and upgrades

Work with Infrastructure Team to troubleshoot software, hardware, and network issues along with documenting resolutions.

Assign work orders, follow up on status, and communicate status to users.

Represent the company in a professional manner and provide excellent Customer Service

Qualifications

Required

Associate degree in computer information systems, networking, or related field of study.

Knowledge of various versions of Microsoft Windows Server OS.

Networking experience

Experience with VMware

Excellent problem-solving skills and work well in a team environment

Positive attitude and highly motivated

A team player with excellent communication skills

Customer service oriented

Willingness to learn

Preferred

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent technical work experience.

CompTIA Certifications: A+, Security+, Network+, or Server+

Cisco Certifications

Experience with Fortinet FortiGate

Knowledge of Microsoft Active Directory and O365 preferred.

Experience with PowerShell
