Morgan Medical Center is hiring a FT Surgical Coordinator for their Surgical Services Department

We are looking for a skilled, energetic employee to join our growing Surgical Services Department. This positions duties will include:

The Surgery Coordinator is responsible for coordinating all aspects of the surgical scheduling process, ensuring smooth workflow and communication between patients, surgeons, and various departments. This role involves managing surgery scheduling, verifying insurance authorizations and pre-certifications, ensuring accurate charge capture and billing, and serving as the primary liaison between the hospital and physician offices. The Surgery Coordinator plays a critical role in ensuring efficiency, accuracy, and high-quality patient care throughout the surgical process.

Successful candidate will have medical terminology experience, previous insurance experience as well as have the ability to multi task, detail oriented, take direction well and work independently.
