Primary Responsibilities
Quality Control Inspection:
Undertake inspections according to our inspection and control plans.
Document inspection results.
Identify, set aside, and document all suspected or defective products.
Return products for repair; confirm repairs and product quality.
Operate precise instruments for measuring; maintain and repair instruments, as necessary.
Communicate visual and dimensional product quality standards to line operators.
Maintain and update quality inspector records.
CMM (Coordinate Measurement Machine) Experience and/or certification
GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) Experience and/or certification
Able to set up and properly use all inspection equipment (i.e. bore gauges, micrometers, optical comparators, etc.)
Advanced computer and software skills (i.e. Microsoft products, ERP system knowledge, etc)
Follow company regulations for a safe and healthy workspace.
Minimum Requirements
High School Diploma or GED
Minimum of 2+ years of combined NDT and full body UT experience with full documentation of prior training, experience and certification.
Ability to read blueprints, technical documents, drawings, and diagrams.
Required Skills and Competencies
Strong communication skills within all levels of the organization, which include verbal, written and nonverbal communication.
Dexterity (must be able to stand, bend, reach and quickly remove products during manufacturing)
Must have basic math and decision-making skills.
