Machine Operator - 3rd Shift

POSITION DESCRIPTION

The Injection Molding Machine Operator is responsible for operating and maintaining injection molding machines to produce high-quality plastic parts. This team member will follow established procedures and quality standards to ensure efficient and safe production.

ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILIES

Mold, assemble, and package products.

Complete the necessary paperwork, including production records and quality inspection reports.

Inspect parts for defects and ensure they meet the company quality standards.

Report any quality issues to the supervisor and quality team.

Follow all safety procedures and wear the required personal protective equipment (PPE).

Maintain a clean and organized work environment.

Assist with training employees when necessary.

Perform other job duties as required.

QUALIFICATIONS

High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.

Experience operating injection molding machines is preferred.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Physical ability to lift and move heavy objects weighing up to 50 pounds. In addition, periodically move large heavy loads greater than 50 pounds with the assistance from a cart/dolly, pallet jack, or second person.

Ability to stand, walk, reach above shoulders, stoop, kneel, or crouch.
