PROGRAM DIRECTOR - RECREATION DEPARTMENT

Applications are now being accepted for the position of Recreation Program Director

Job Requirements:

High school diploma or GED

Must have a minimum of 5 years experience in organizing and conducting recreational activities, life skills and special events for a variety of age groups.

Preferred A.S. Degree in Recreation, Fine Arts, Program Leadership or Related Field, but not required.

Must have current Red Cross CPR & First Aid Certifications.

Preferred certification as a Red Cross CPR & First Aid Instructor

Preferred Serve Safe Certification

Preferred Water Safety Certification

Must be flexible with hours - shift may change every session and/or season - limited evenings and weekends.

Must be able to work with different groups of people; Preschool - Senior Citizens.

Some Donation and/or Grant writing experience a plus

Must have a valid drivers license.

Salary and Hours: $23.243 - $26.985/hour - 40 hours weekly
