Title: Systems Developer

HBITS Task Order: HBITS-06-14111

Agency: Office of Children and Family Services (OCFS)

Location: Albany, NY (Hybrid – 50% remote)

Rate: Depends on experience

Position Overview:

Project is part of the New York HBITS initiative supporting Child Care state and federal reporting through the OCFS Oracle Data Warehouse. The Systems Developer will enhance ETL processes and reporting related to CCFS and FAMS systems.

Responsibilities:

Build and expand Oracle-based Data Warehouse

Design and validate dimensional and relational data models

Collaborate on ETL mappings using ODI/OWB

Write complex PL/SQL code, stored procedures, and triggers

Test and resolve infrastructure and performance issues

Handle Unix/Linux scripting for automation

Assist in database schema development and management

Participate in weekly knowledge transfer and documentation

Support SDLC lifecycle activities

Work with project managers and technical leads on enhancements

Qualifications:

7+ years of PL/SQL development in Oracle DW

7+ years in ETL techniques using OWB/ODI

7+ years of dimensional modeling and data cleansing

7+ years writing/testing ETL and source-to-target mappings

7+ years of full SDLC support

7+ years Unix/Linux scripting experience

7+ years building and optimizing database structures

Bachelor’s degree
