Collaborate with project teams to design, develop, and implement solutions relating to complex software application architecture, Application Programming Interfaces (APIs), security, and interacting websites; serve as a member of the project management team to ensure smooth and timely solution deliverables; design and implement solutions; develop process models and use cases using case designs, workflow diagrams, data mapping diagrams, and data modeling; design specific solutions using Enterprise Messaging Services; develop Customer Digital IVR; work with analysts to see that developed code and application functionality meet requirements of the product owner; perform project enhancements and fine tuning of the developed software upon reviewing the functional requirements; develop business processes for projects by creating process definitions, creating activities, and configuring message transports; develop and design Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA) service for client applications; write SQL queries for specific enhancements and configurations; develop and perform unit testing to resolve development issues and validate incoming data; perform root-cause analysis in response to Incident tickets; assess business strategies and requirements to develop necessary designs and plans to ensure projects and solutions satisfy those needs; and utilize Java, Gems, MS SQL, Oracle, Portecle, and Postman to perform these duties.
Travel in North America is required up to 15% per year (i.e. up to 39 work days per year). Employer covers all costs.
100% telecommuting is permitted from anywhere in the US.
Minimum Qualifications:
Must have a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Information Technology plus 3 years of experience as a Software Engineer or substantially similar position.
Special Skills Required:
Required experience must include 3 years of experience with all of the following: develop and design software using Java, Gems, MS SQL, Oracle, Portecle, and Postman; develop process models and use cases using case designs, workflow diagrams, data mapping diagrams, and data modeling; work with analysts to see that developed code and application functionality meet requirements of the product owner; perform project enhancements and fine tuning of the developed software upon reviewing the functional requirements; develop business processes by creating process definitions, creating activities, and configuring message transports; develop and design Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA) service for client applications; develop and perform unit testing to resolve development issues and validate incoming data; and perform root-cause analysis in response to Incident tickets.
Salary: $140,805 per year Work Hours: 9 AM to 6 PM
