Minimum 1+ years speech therapy experience required.
A professional opportunity is available for an experienced Speech-Language Pathologist seeking to make a meaningful impact within a K-12 educational setting. This contract position is located in Westerville, OH, and focuses on providing tailored communication support to students from kindergarten through eighth grade.
Qualifications:
Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field
Valid state license and certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist
Experience in school settings, particularly with K-12 students
Proficient in conducting language screenings and assessments
Ability to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
Familiarity with Response to Intervention (RtI) models
Strong communication skills, with experience working with diverse populations

Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive language screenings for students by October
Provide direct support to approximately 20-25 students, focusing on their speech and language needs
Collaborate with educators and support staff to develop and implement language intervention programs
Facilitate language RtI groups to monitor student progress and adjust interventions as needed
Serve as a resource for teachers regarding strategies to support EL students, primarily speaking Nepali and Kinyarwanda
Maintain accurate documentation of student progress and interventions in compliance with school policies
