Role and Responsibilities
Position drives a 53’ truck to make Local, Regional, and National pick-ups and deliveries of Company equipment.
Fleet also include 30' box trucks (Class B), 26', 16', and Sprinter Vans (non-CDL)
Checks and/or assists in the loading/unloading of the trailer.
Inspects vehicle for proper and safe operating conditions before and after each trip.
Must maintain a E-log book and adhere to all DOT regulations.
May require driving in adverse weather conditions.
Position will require overnight stays and overtime.
Also requires lifting cases weighing up to 100 pounds if they fall in trailer.
Use forklift in warehouse.
Support warehouse personnel with pulling of equipment, quality control, and restocking
Qualifications and Education Requirements
Interstate (Class A) Commercial Driver’s License including cleared DMV report.
Minimum of 30 months experience working in a full-time Class A tractor/trailer driving position in the previous 3 years.
No more than two (2) moving violations while operating a personal or commercial motor vehicle in the last three (3) years.
No serious traffic violations while operating a commercial motor vehicle in the last three (3) years.
No convictions for a DUI, DWI, OUI, or reckless driving involving alcohol/drugs within the last ten (10) years.
Current Medical Card.
Ability to pass a DOT pre-employment drug test.
Ability to maintain DOT regulated Driver’s Hours-of-Service paperwork.
