Leading full service printing and converting company in OH is searching to hire an industry experienced VP of Plant Manufacturing Operations.

Responsibilities include:

Lead and manage all aspects of plant operations from manufacturing to warehousing, fulfillment and shipping operations with close interactions with sales and client services.

Manage 8 direct reports and 300 indirect.

Practice Lean Manufacturing techniques, improving the quality and efficiency of the work by studying, evaluating and re-configuring processes.

Continually review KPI's and make data driven changes for improvements.

Make sure proper procedures and employee training programs are in place for effective employee development.

Build effective teams through all phases of manufacturing.

Research and advise on new technologies.

P&L and budgeting responsibilities.

Work closely with C level management on strategic development.

Develop and implement growth opportunities.

Qualifications Include:

Minimum 5 - 10 years' plant manufacturing operations management experience in the offset printing or packaging industry. Knowledge of digital printing operations preferred.

Minimum 15 years' leadership experience in offset and/or digital printing operations. Converting experience a plus.

Strong leadership skills including communication, coaching, and mentoring staff.

Proven track record utilizing Lean Manufacturing Practices to improve bottom line and efficiency and reducing waste and down time.

Excellent team building and employee development experience.

Strong decision making skills.
