Now Hiring: Phlebotomist II – Carrboro, NC (Full-Time, Onsite)

Location: We have 2 locations at a distance of 30 minutes - 610 Jones Ferry Rd, Carrboro, NC 27510 AND Emperor Blvd, Durham NC 27703

Schedule: Weekdays, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM

Pay Rate: $18.80–$21.30/hr

Join one of the most respected names in diagnostics! We’re looking for a dedicated and skilled Phlebotomist II to provide excellent patient care and accurate specimen collection at our Carrboro location.

Key Responsibilities:

• Represent the face of our company to patients for both routine visits and critical health decisions

• Draw quality blood samples from pediatric, geriatric, and adult patients

• Prepare specimens for lab testing, ensuring labeling accuracy and safe transport

• Maintain documentation and required records accurately

• Demonstrate strong leadership behaviors and maintain strict patient confidentiality

• Create a professional and reassuring atmosphere while explaining procedures to patients

• Travel between Patient Service Centers/In-Office Phlebotomy locations as needed

Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years of phlebotomy experience required (including pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections)

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in a Patient Service Center preferred

• High school diploma or equivalent required

• Phlebotomy certification preferred (mandatory in CA, NV, and WA)

• Medical assistant or paramedic training preferred

• Must have reliable personal transportation and a valid driver’s license

• Flexible availability including weekends, holidays, on-call, and overtime

• Ability to work independently and handle multiple priorities in high-volume settings

• Strong commitment to customer service, professionalism, and timely attendance

Training locations may vary based on trainer availability. This is a contract position with possible extension or hire based on business needs.
